Okay, so it’s not really in my back yard but it IS on base and behind the flight line (where jets are parked). We have EOD personnel over there now trying to keep the puppy asleep. All other personnel in that surrounding area has already been evacuated and traffic has been directed away from the scenery. If things go well, I should sleep well tonight, if not… I guess I’ll feel another rumble in the ground that has nothing to do with an earth quake.
On to lighter news. I took my GSE tow tractor license today. I missed one question – drats! What I realized was I was studying the wrong publication! Oh well, I guesstimated on 5 of the unknown questions and missed 1. That gave me a score of 94. That’s not bad, lol.
We also washed a FA18-Hornet (jet)… IN THE RAIN! Yeah, only in the Navy do we wash our ‘vehicles’ in the rain. *jokingly* It’s the only way to do it, you know? I lent my cranial (helmet) to another person prior to cleaning the jet and ended up bumping my head quite a few times. It’s really hard to see when you have a hood over your head and you’re trying not to splash any water on yourself despite the drinching rain. I have 2 knots on my head now – owy!
Back To Business
Now that I’m back to business I’ve been making a lot of updates and changes. I am satisfied with the results so far and I’m looking forward to how much my websites have improved. Despite how time consuming and difficult it may be I will not give up on improving my website and reaching out to those who need my help.
I’m going to have to leave for now because I need to eat and do a 10 mile run in a couple of hours before I sleep. Good night everyone.
