My Blog Was Inaccessible Due To A Plugin

05 Dec
2008

Yesterday, I upgraded a few plugins, including one called “vhosts 1.3.” It’s suppose to provide for robust support of virtual hosts but all it did was deny access to my pages unless I logged in as an administrator. I saw it last night, but it didn’t click. I thought it was just an Internet connection error and proceeded to log in as admin and it worked fine. This morning though, it finally hit me in the face. I checked on both IE and FF. I then began deactivating plugins that I installed/upgraded and realized it was the vhosts 1.3 that caused the error.
