Google PR Might No Longer Exist

04 Mar
2010

Yep, word has it that the Google PR might not even be called “PR” anymore. Despite its branding, there has been talk of removing it altogether or just calling it something else, because Google wants to emphasize that PR is NOT the most important factor in determining their ranking in the SERPs.

Well, SEO enthusiasts and webmasters, are you ready?

Just kidding. In all actually, the game hasn’t changed, just the name of it will be. However, I think some people will feel very lost after getting this news because all this time they thought high PR was the main reason for ranking. It’s not. There’s much more to it.
