Animoto Is Spectacular – It’s Free!

22 Dec
2008

I’m having so much fun with Animoto. I learned of Animoto.com by looking at this month’s Entrepreneur magazine. I didn’t even open the magazine up. I immediately went ahead and looked them up online.

To my surprise, they are totally cool. They let you select whatever images you have, upload them, select music from their list (or your own computer) and then send it for rendering. It goes in and a few minutes later is this really cool music video with your pictures. It’s so fast and easy.

Here’s what I made today:

Whether you’d like to share personal photos with friends and family, like the one above, or used for business, Animoto can help. Here’s an example of what I mean:

Either way, these videos can be made in just minutes. If you are making a 30 second video, it’s free, but if you want a longer video, it’s only $30 a year! You can’t beat that. It saves me so much time and the videos are really spectacular. Stop by Animoto.com today and check it out.

Sincerely,
Kevin Lam

Shweeeet! I’d heard about Animoto earlier this year on a tech show here in the UK (BBC’s Click) but haven’t yet had the time to try it. Looks pretty funky 😀

Turns out i actually have a similar app on my mobile called Muvee Studio. I’ve made a number of different types of personal videos but i might try it out on some of my projects and see if i can pull something off 😀

Anyway, happy xmas bud! I’ll be spending it working… In a nightclub **groans** 😮
