There are so many great things happening, we’re not even sure if we can mention them just yet. Once we get full permissions from the proper authorities, we will release that information. Just know that our launch in Butuan City has created quite a stir; we are going to be able to help change the economy in the Philippines!

It was only a dream and vision before, but this is all coming to reality. This is truly history in the making. If we could tell you everything that is going on right now and planned ahead, you’ll fall out of your chair. I’m serious.

When we started this whole venture, within 3 weeks we had over 1,000 applicants to our sales position. Upon opening our office, we have already received nearly 200 applicants for a job in our company. We never once advertised this.

Our goal is to turn this office into a 24/7 facility. We will have workers from around the clock working on our clients and providing them the support they need. We may as well do it since we have a 24/7 security guard there. But that could be a month or two from now.

And yes, we do intend to expand even more. Plans have already begun, but we will not reveal much until it is time for launch again.

John Asis, our Regional Manager of Asia, and the whole team did a wonderful job bringing all of this together. It was a lot of long hours and MONEY, but we did it and it’s time to press forward to do what we had set out for: help unite and expand the Philippines.

On top of that, you are actually saving a lot of precious time that you can otherwise spend on more important matters like developing new products or market your products. When you buy a pre-made template, you only need to edit a thing or two to give it an identity of your own, and that gives you more time and flexibility to work on other stuff.

Okay, let’s say you argue that hiring a designer to do the job is equally fast. That may be true but don’t forget, hiring a professional designer to do a custom design for you will cost you a lot of money. Unless you need a totally unique identity that you are aiming to establish firmly in your niche market, you don’t need to get a designer to design it for you.

Not all graphic templates are suitable, so you have to be careful when choosing one. Consider quality over the price, and you’re on your way to creating a positive image for your business while saving more time for more productive chores!

No matter what, we must SELL our idea, concept, product or service to someone to stay in business, and in some cases, keep our job. Well, in order to sell better, don’t sell at all!

I closed 4 clients this week by NOT selling to them. In fact, it was THEIR idea to talk about the package and ask about the price. It was THEIR idea to negotiate what they want and could possibly afford. And each time I got off the phone, they were eager to hear back from me. I even get “thank you’s”  for not selling to them even though they’re signing on as a client.

Weird, right?

So the question in the back of your mind is this…

“HOW are you doing that!”

Good question… but I won’t answer that until I get enough feedback from people who would be interested in knowing how. If I can get a prospect on the phone and talking to them for at least 10 minutes, the deal is as good as closed 90% of the time. That’s how powerful this technique is.

Those of you who have become my clients or one of those clients I just closed this week know EXACTLY what I’m talking about. So please don’t give it out to everyone and release the secret!

They Don’t Feel Used

The best thing about it though is that I know these clients of mine don’t feel used. They are HAPPY I am using this technique (well, I didn’t even know it was a technique until I looked back and realized how well TexasSEO is doing). I don’t have a name for it really, so “selling without selling” is as closest I can get to putting a name on it. I’m sure other people call it something else.

But again, I’m not going to just put it out there for people if there’s no real desire to know. So I’ll keep it to myself for now. And if there aren’t enough responses or requests… well, I guess it’ll wait until I release it in my new book later on next year.

HINT: It’s NOT about the money!

Search engine optimization isn’t about optimizing for the search engines, it’s about optimizing for the user – the ones that will be buying from you. You will often hear from us that a user-friendly website will do way better than a site that is hard to read and hard to navigate.

This is because search engines only care about what their users get when doing a search. If a user is unhappy with a result because of irrelevancy, then they’re not doing their job.

Here are a few examples of what you should be doing to be user-friendly:

• Use a simple navigation menu that can be easily seen. We recommend the menu be placed at the  top or right column.
• Be natural. Write naturally and freely without concentrating on specific keywords.
• Be relevant. Try to give each page a particular “theme” or “topic”. If your page is about “glass cleaners” try to talk about “glass cleaners” AND related items. Don’t stray off about “shoes” or “skiing”.
• Be professional. This includes the layout of your site, the design and exactly what the page is about. You want people to be able to easily read what’s on your page. Don’t use colors that clash or too close in color that they blend in.

Someone asked me why my wife has to be away from me for 10 months. Well, it’s because I’m stuck out here in Japan and finish off my 3-year tour. After that, I can go home to my family. I run my online business on the side and have been quite successful, but it didn’t come without sacrifices. I sleep about 3-4 hours a night and still continue my duties as a good husband and U.S. representative.

Since my wife has been here, I have pulled out $7,000 just to have a place for her to stay in the last 3 months and then another $1,000 for a house we’re staying in until the 5th. The Navy then took away $1700 BECAUSE she is with me more than 3 months. All that doesn’t include about $10,000 in taking her to Guam, traveling to different cities for shopping, buying her laptop, gifts and so on.

As an airman, I make only $1500 a month plus $1100 for other benefits. So if you do that math, that’s $2,600 a month I’d receive from my regular job, I’d have only made $7,800 in the last 3 months. But I’ve pulled out $18,000 in the past 3 months.
How can anyone afford to do that?

I have been secretly making money on the Internet for years. I started my new site (the HSR) in efforts to reveal all my hard work (what took me over a year to complete because I only had a couple of hours a night).
