Getting High Paying Clients

Since leaving the Navy, I’ve actually been able to offer my marketing services as a freelancer on the side from Fair Ads Network. In the process, I’ve also gotten the chance to teach my siblings quite a bit. My sister, Hang, is the one that’s picking up mostly the SEO work and will help take over for me soon.

I’ve received clients paying as little as $12/hr to $20/hr to $25/hr and as much as $60/hr for a variety of my services. You’ll be shocked to find out that the rates they’re paying me are usually 10% higher than they anticipated. Anyone can do this. It’s just a matter of knowing how and what to say. I’m just not quite ready to give it all away though.

Okay, I will tell you one thing. To do what I do, you NEED perseverance, experience, knowledge, action and results. As long as you have the willingness to learn, you’ll gain experience and knowledge. Once that takes place, you need to take action and monetize through your results. So don’t expect to just jump in and start getting paid $20-$60/hr for something you are a total newbie to.

My Traffic Project Begins

With most of my work completed on Fair Ads Network, I will now begin a traffic project. One I mentioned I’d work on a long time ago. I will be marketing a brand new website I created TODAY. I registered, updated DNS and created a single page. It’s really a landing page that leads back to Fair Ads Network.

While I am promoting FAN, it will be used as a case study. Basically, this project restricts me from using ANY paid services. I must use free advertising sources only to build my traffic. I’ll write down all of my notes here as we progress. I’ll even include the traffic and everything.

Tackled A Difficult Task Today

Trying to make a complicated network system simple is really hard work. At Fair Ads Network, my team and I have been spending hours on end trying to figure out what to do with money that is left behind by members that are terminated. Whether they terminate themselves or we terminate them for violation of policies.

Well, after about 8 hours worth of discussion, I finally figured out a plan of attack. It wasn’t easy and it’s definitely not a pretty picture. I mean, it’s not a simple idea where we just keep whatever money is left. Oh no, not when bonuses are involved. Not when 3 types of affiliate income are involved. And definitely not when company percentages are also involved.

With plenty of critical thinking and problem solving analysis, I developed a step-by-step systematic approach. I did this by discussing it with my wife, Ashley. Though she did not give me the answer on how to solve it, it allowed me to talk it out. She ask questions, I answer. In doing so, it allowed me to figure out things I didn’t even bother to think of on my own.

Moral of the story: if you’re having trouble with a situation, try asking someone for help. It doesn’t matter if that person knows ANYTHING about it. Just ask them to discuss it with you. I guarantee that even if that person doesn’t have the answer, you’ll figure it out. Good luck!

AdSense & YPN Has A New Competitor

Fair Ads Network officially opened the doors for prelaunch January 27th and now has over over 1,100 members. They are currently under development and expected to be ready with the Beta version in March. Amazingly, they also have 2 big supporters for their business.

What’s different with the FAN concept is you can do more than just make money through advertising. There is in fact 4 different ways.

Publish ads on your website
Affiliate earnings from affiliates that publish ads
Affiliate earnings from affiliates that deposit money
Affiliate earnings from affiliates that upgrade

Key notes I’d like to touch up on:

FAN is not a matrix program
FAN is not an MLM
FAN is not a U.S. only service provider
FAN is not discriminative of your account preference

There’s no more click-fraud. They’ve irraticated that. You can click on your own ads all you want and you’d be fine.

No more over-exposure of specific advertisers. Companies that over-expose an advertiser only hurts the advertisers funding and harms the publisher’s earnings because no one wants to click on them.

Don’t just block unwanted domains, block the ad and even the advertiser/publisher completely.

There’s something called the Video-Wow-Factor (the indirect income!). Really, you have to read more about this on their website.

Approve and disapprove ads in your selected categories. Even though participants are willing to do it for free because each publisher is deciding on which ad is allowed in their chosen category this allows you to make an additional $0.01 for every vote. It doesn’t matter if you approve or disapprove, you’ll still get credited for it. And get this, it takes 10 votes to actually approve an ad. If it is disapproved 3 times, it will then be forwarded to administration.

FAN also has a new approach to help you make more money. I think it’s ingenious. You can even help with charity without using your own money. What a neat concept.

Here’s the big one though. You can manage your existing ad network ads from one location. It’s truly amazing. You really must get in now before it’s too late. They’re accepting only a limited number of people to participate in their beta version.
