The man is a machine!

Still can’t believe it.

Well, I had the pleasure of not only meeting my idol from when I was in high school, but we may very well go into business together, too!

We discussed a possible partnership and even manage his product launch, which is a much more updated version of his Mega Reading Program from the 90′s that sold millions of copies.

I will be going over to his home in McKinney next week and discuss the arrangements and how to launch this thing since I have a lot of experience with copywriting and product launches. If things go well with this, Howard can finally retire.

I’m also currently consulting for Norvax‘s new health insurance marketing and coaching program. The person I’m coaching and consulting for was able to save $6,000 just from an hour of my time. I’m sure their launch is going to be quite amazing.

I was only 16.

I purchased his product through Kevin Trudeau’s infomercial program back in the late 90′s (I was 16), but boy did I learn to read fast. In fact, after I went through his course I didn’t even study any more! My studying was my speed reading and comprehension.

No, I’m no where close to how good Howard is, but it was certainly good enough to make A’s without trying. I was also at the top of my class while in the military due to going through his program. So his product REALLY works. It was great to finally meet him in person. I never even knew he lived so close (just 45 minutes away).

Can you tell I’m ambitious?

Yes, I’m what you call an over-achiever.

You give me something to do, I do more than what you’d expect. It’s not to brag or show off, but it’s just my personality – the way I am.

And if you had asked me if I expected to do anything I am doing now 10 years ago when I was in the 10th grade, I would have told you that you are crazy. I could never have imagined that I’d be invited to speak at high schools, talking to clients and companies who’s net earnings are in the millions. That’s just insane.

But I’m doing it.

I’m doing it every day of my life now. I’m now getting attention from “gurus” who I use to buy products from and I know they will contact me later after the launch of my current client: StupidSimpleSystem.com

I can’t wait to open the flood gates and see if I can get it to convert at over 5%. If we hit our goal of a certain number of visitors and convert at 5%, we can easily hit $1,000,000 in sales. Alright, there’s my crazy update for Monday morning.

Oh, I almost forgot. I was invited to speak at the School of Science and Engineering at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center in Dallas, Texas. Never been there, hehe, but it sounds cool. They’re 2nd in the nation for science education. Pretty awesome stuff.

Seriously, I have a rare skin condition that prevents me from any rigorious, physical activity. Heck, even emotional. Let me explain my condition (I don’t know the name for it, but a doctor once told me it was a 15-20 character name):

WHEN I AM:

• Working out – includes running, lifting weights, swimming & other athletic events
• laying with my daughter (lifting her, playing, running with her in my arms)
• Angry, too excited/happy, emotionally triggered (good or bad)
• In direct sunlight for more than 5 seconds
• Showering in water that is too hot
• Met with artificial heat (heater from in the home, A/C unit, building)
• In a hot room

When any of these things happen, I itch in a very painful way. The best way to explain this pain is that it feels like a THOUSAND needles are poking me everywhere. The most place is my chest and back, but it does lead down my arms, forarms, forehead, lower back and even my legs. After several minutes, you can see small red dots welping up on me. Even if I don’t scratch, you can see the red marks all over me as if I did.

Believe me, I tried getting tested. They all say my blood is fine. Nothing is wrong from me. But when I did push-ups in front of the doctor, they saw it happen. After just 45 push-ups, I began itching irratically and they have no explanation for it.

SO IT’S NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO WORK OUT

Now the question is, if I can’t work out, how the heck do I get in shape or stay in shape?

That’s what I’ll have to find out. Below are pictures of me now as of today. The pictures are of me before flexing and while flexing. I weigh 150 lbs.

Well, I need more.

First off, I am getting back into my business and updating my other websites. NetworkersDebut.com definitely needs some work and this blog needs a little more love.

Secondly, I am helping my wife with a new project that should bring in a substantial amount of income. It’s also something she is passionate about so I see no harm in it. This in itself will be a great test of my abilities and can be referred back to in future training/projects.

Thirdly, I am starting a part-time job at a local Internet company that requires my marketing knowledge. Compared to my Navy job, I’ll be working less hours but making much more. It feels good to know that the company actually wants me there because of my creativity and knowledge. I always wanted to be able to do more than just a home business.

I just realized I’ve been doing things backwards! Most people go from working at the office to wanting to work from home and yet I’m trying to go from working at home to the office. I mean, it’s nice working from home and it has its perks, but I simply get more work done at an office. When the time comes, I’ll probably just rent a space close by and go there to work.

I’ve made up my mind – that’s what I’ll do.

The house still has some fixing, but it’s time to get back to work. My vacation is over; so, boys and girls… it’s time to rock!

That means I can rent a car cheaper when I go on vacation, lol. We’re going to the beach today and just hang out with a friend. We bought my daughter (who turns 3 months today) a bathing suit. We tried it on her the other day and she’s freak’n adorable!

I’ll take plenty of pictures and videos to document this fun day. It’s time for a break!

So yeah, it was Ashley that was in pain and I felt bad that there wasn’t much I could do for her but be up all night and take care of her. I helped her through the contractions, the breathing and the thirst. When she was fully dilated, we were only waiting for the doctor to arrive.

After an hour of pushing, Leala just wasn’t coming out. Ashley and I agreed to a cesarean (C-section) because we knew the baby would be too big. 4 days prior, the ultrasound had estimated our baby to be 8 lbs -12 oz. That’s a big baby as it is.

Well, guess what. She wasn’t. She was 9 lbs – 8 oz! She’s a big’un!

And so, here we go with the photos:

Leala Xuan Lam was born February 2nd, 2008. She was 9lbs-8oz and 21 inches long. She has a full head of dark hair with blond highlights (crazy, huh?). She has no birthmarks, she is very quiet and she is just frigg’n beautiful!

If you look closely, there’s red dot on her left thigh. That was the first shot. She didn’t cry. She got a second one on the right thigh. She cried for 5 seconds… I cried for 5 minutes!

Here’s Ashley all drugged up on the phone with HER mom. I had Leala lay there because Ashley had a c-section. With all those drugs, she couldn’t keep her eyes open long enough to focus so she couldn’t even see Leala. The least I could do is let her feel her baby next to her. She did so great though.

My baby girl is get’n big! It’s crazy feeling and seeing her kick my hand or just try to push out. I’m a new dad and I hope to join the many great fathers out there.

So how many guns do you guys buy when you had a girl? I’m thinking of having 2 pistols, 3 shot guns, 1 bow-and-arrow (with 50 arrows), GPS tracking devices, security system, 2 swords, 25 Chinese stars, 2 staffs and a deck of metal “playing” cards.

Why the metal “playing” cards? Well, I can shed blood with *regular* playing cards so you can only imagine what I could do if they were metal…. mwahahahahahahaha!

Jokes aside, I hope to be a good father and provide the things she needs and maybe wants. I know she’ll be able to kick the boys butts when she has to!

Yep, yep, she’s beautiful, hehe. Back off, guys, my dad’s a skillful martial artist and well beyond some masters. And yep, yep, I use to have hair. It will all be back real soon though.

So, alright, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!

Solving the puzzle is done in steps and sequence. There are 5 major sequences and the last one is the easiest of them all. By all means, I can’t do it under a minute, but I’m at the 2 minute and 30 seconds mark. There is much to learn about it, but I’m happy with being able to say that I CAN solve one.

Now, in case you don’t know me, as far as my military expertise goes, I’m darn good at finding FOD that no one else can find. There were times when they had a whole team of engineers and even technicians figure out where a particular bolt may had fallen in the cockpit. They spent 12 hours ripping panels apart – it took me 5 seconds and put them to shame.

In another incident, someone dropped a light bulb that’s the size of the head of your pen. I found it INSIDE the ejection seat’s safe/arm handle (dangerous to mess with). So what did I do? I turned it upside down and spanked it out. Must be the first time it ever happened.

So anyway, the person that dropped the FOD today got his whole shop in trouble because they were working on it without ‘placing’ it into work in the electronic system. That’s a no-no in our procedures. As punishment, they weren’t allowed to work on it… that means WE weren’t allowed to take anything out.

I got smart on them and had the guys move things around according to my instructions. They wanted to be the ones to find it so they wouldn’t let me in. After 45 minutes, I told them to move aside. I reached into the side console in an awkward but manageable position and found it in 2 seconds. This allowed us to leave an hour early and saved the other shop’s behind.

Some guys have even commented that if FOD is dropped and no one can find it within an hour, they should just give up and wait for me to come in even if it’s 12 hours away. Simply put, I’m the FOD King, lol. They call me “Super Lam.”

That’s my highlight of the day… pretty boring, huh? Meh, back to work!

Our first night out in town.

On the second night, I took her out to the Reunion Tower and ate at the Antares Restaurant. The restaurant is located a few hundred feet above the ground and rotates in a circular path. We would get a full 360 degree view of everything outside in approximately every 45 minutes.

Before getting there, I was joking around saying that we should leave an hour early so we can spare half an hour to get lost. Ironically, we did. We got lost for exactly half an hour and then finally made it just 5 minutes before our reservation. Because it is winter time, 6PM just isn’t early enough to see the sun set. Heck, they don’t even open ’til then anyway.

The meal had cost us about $100. Not too shabby for such a nice place. I had the sea bass while she had some Thai something shrimp. I can’t remember the name. It was really hard to pronounce. They were both delicious though. I recommend if you ever stop by Dallas, Texas to go on up there. It’s the tower with the ball at the top.

I am now looking toward 2007. One of the biggest year of my life.

I will soon be launching FAN, returning to the States for good, permanently be with my wife, start on my secret project, meeting people at seminars and even speaking on stage and I’ll probably more than likely have a baby. We both really want one. Especially after seeing our nephew, Sean. He’s just so cute you want to hold on to him forever.

Sure I might have my plate full and I’m trying to take on too many things. But that’s just who I am. The way I see it, the bigger my goals and dreams, the more I get out of it.

Some people are afraid to set their goals really high.

I’m not because even if I don’t meet that goal, I would have at least gotten close and achieve more than I started out with. I went from no list, to a list of over 2,000. I went from 2 forum members (me and my wife) to over 650 members. I went from ground floor to making a few extra thousand dollars. while I was at sea for 7 months this year.

Out of it, I got my Plane Captain qualifications, which allows me to launch, recover and maintain an F-18 Hornet. I’ve gone to Thailand, Singapore, Korea, Guam, Northern Japan and Australia. I also advanced to Petty Officer third class. I’ve received letter of appreciations and commendations for my work performance. I’ve also gotten two outstanding performance awards on my PFA (Physical Fitness Assessment).

I’m already dreaming up my life for 2007.

I can see myself buying back my military contract so I could live my life with my family. I see my business reaching out to millions of people all across the world. I can see myself driving the car of my dream, which is a Porsche 911 GT2. Although it may not be practical for everyday use, it sure will be a lot of fun on the weekends!

On the contrary, I see myself in an SUV taking my wife to the hospital to deliver our baby. I don’t know it yet, but I have a feeling she’s pregnant. *crossing fingers* cjnmcjnfjkj ajjn lak kfld n… okay, it’s hard to type like that, but you get the point.

I don’t consider myself an Internet marketing junkie.

But I do consider myself an Internet marketing fanatic. I love to do it and work with people who do it. I love to come up with new ways to drive more traffic to my website and keeping them there. I love to help others grasp the same concept and apply it themselves.

It’s no danger or harm to myself for helping others. I feel happy helping people. It’s my nature. It’s just me.

I’m seriously excited about FairAdsNetwork.com.

Looking over it’s capabilities, I know it will do more than give Google AdSense/AdWords and YPN a run for their money. We’ll even run away with their money – legitimately and legally. We’ll win the hearts of millions and convince them that their PPC and keyword relevancy venture days are over. It’s just way too costly to the advertiser and way too little for the publishers to profit.

Networker’s Debut will also soon get a face lift for the new year.

I will be including a few additions for the new year. First up is a whole new newsletter system. I’m tired of using another server where I am limited to doing what I want the way I want it.

I’ll also be adding a news publishing system to help reflect the key objective of Networker’s Debut, which is to get you the latest and up-to-date news on Internet marketing.

Last, but not least important, is a traffic tracker that will allow me to see how many hits I really am getting, what country they are coming from, what time of day, what type of browser they are using, how long were they on my site and so much more. I want to use this data and analyze it to determine the best ways to keep the visitors coming and staying.

All great things start out as an idea.

I mentioned something about a secret project I’ll be working on soon. Can I give you a hint?

It has to do with ebooks, but it’s NOT an ebook. It will be free for all, but it’s not a classifieds site. Anyone can join, as long as they speak and understand English. It will be consisted of a huge community, but it’s not a forum. It’s been done before, but not ANYTHING like this. My product line will be unlimited, but it won’t be me producing them.

At this point, you’re wondering what the heck I’m talking about… uhh, I can’t tell ya. You’ll just have to stay tuned and find out. I’ll tell you this though. The idea was sparked after reading a book called “The Long Tail” written by Chris Anderson, who is the editor in chief at Wired Magazine.

The secret project will be using the Long Tail Theory and combine the concept of Amazon and Wikipedia all in one. Like I said, 2007 is going to be a really big year and I can’t wait to see the things we accomplish together.
