During this time period, we will be able to release up to 10 products that are geared towards helping businesses of all industries save time and make money. We are pushing the front-lines hard and fast before many of our competitors could see and respond.

Being an SEO person, I was interested to see what it was about.

Apparently you can buy 1,000 anchor text backlinks at a time for $127. Now, keep in mind that these 1,000 anchor text backlinks are split up among 5 blog sites. So it’s 200 anchor text backlinks from each site with a various number of posts.

Let’s just assume they’ll post 2-3 anchor text backlinks per post. That is between 66 and 100 blog posts. For the sake of argument, let’s just say 75 blog posts per site is pointing to your targeted URL.

In a way, it’s great that you get 1,000 backlinks, but in all reality – WAKE UP! THIS IS TOTAL BS.

In THEORY, you’ll have 1,000 backlinks, but do they really actually matter?

Let me prove my point. Think of a popular blog.

Let’s put Matt Cutt’s blog on for display. His blog has a PR7 (his domain has a PR5, just fyi).

Now if you look at his blog entries, what are their PRs?

Most of them are 0. Yeah, 0. How much link juice will you have from a PR0 page?

You see, Google doesn’t care about the PR of your domain when it comes to backlinks, they care about the PR of the PAGE you are getting a backlink FROM! So it doesn’t matter if the blogs LinxBoss carries are at least PR5.

UPDATE: If you’re here to bitch and moan about this NOT being a review, you need to just go. Most of you who complain that this is being reviewed without me actually using the product – oh well. Go cry me a river. I don’t have to use it to understand the underlying concept of it. I’m breaking it down to how it functions.

This applies to ALL backlinking networks, not just LinxBoss. Either you get it or you don’t.

Either read the whole thing, which continues in the forum where I TELL YOU that the concept works! And as I’ve used as an example for someone today, if you’re throwing 1,000 darts at a target, surely you’ll hit a bulls-eye at some point.

Yes, if you use LinxBoss or any other backlinking network, you’ll see SOME kind of result. I see results simply from doing blog commenting – so what? It only works to an extent. That is the whole point of this review.

Let me break this down in layman’s term for some of you folks that simply don’t get it:

You are promised 1,000 links pointed to 5 domains. There is no way LinxBoss is going to create 1,000 different blog entries for you. In fact, they use a lot of duplicate content – even customers of that service say so – so that’s not me guessing.You’re really going to get a max of 500 backlinks (considering it’s 2 links per post).

This was why I called it BS. I am not saying LinxBoss is full of it, just that the claim is very misleading.

Not all entries will get indexed, so you’re already under 500 backlinks. None of the blog entries will have any PR value (remember, they’re new and although SEs do index duplicate content, not all of them). Over time, a percentage of them will get indexed (but many will be removed as well), they will then become backlinks. So there is almost zero immediate value up front. However, for SOME sites, getting ANY type of backlink will boost their rankings.

Again, I have a website where I did ONLY blog commenting and it generated 1,200+ visitors a month after 2 months. I stopped after about 50 comments (not 500 or 1,000). Did I have to do any backlinking or use a service like LinxBoss, NO!

Now quit groaning and moaning and get on with life unless you have something constructive to contribute. If not, shut it.

Seriously though,  Mike Crow truly delivered with his presentation on 10 Ways To More Referrals. His 10 ways are running through my head right now and I can’t stop thinking about them. I’m thinking about how I can incorporate what he does and grow my business even more.

These are things we should ALL be applying in our business already. If you’re not, you are seriously losing a lot of money. It doesn’t matter WHAT business you’re in. I suggest you listening to the whole thing. And since I’m not expecting a whole lot of responses (too bad if you don’t take advantage of this), I’ll send you the full audio presentation so you know how to get more referrals and more business.

We’re not talking about referrals for a network marketing business, I’m talking about building a relationship with your clients and making sure your clients are referring others to you. I get referrals from my clients, but the strategies Mike covers are honestly brain-dead simple to execute.

Here’s what you have to do:

1) Post something in the forum. Tell us something new. Introduce yourself if you never have. Tell us about what you’re working on now, etc. I’m not saying to do all of that, but to just make a post in the forum.

2) Comment on this blog entry that you’ve posted in the forum so I’ll have your email address. I’ll then send you the link to get this 1-hour presentation.

TO ME, this could be worth thousands of dollars in clients. When Mike asked me how much each client is worth, I told him $700-$800. I thought about it some more and realized I’m closer to $1,200. So I have to do everything I can to make my clients happy to get more referrals. I know what he taught will certainly do the trick.

So the time it takes to do what I said to do is well worth it.

Having a domain just isn’t enough to make your business running and ready to compete. You have to expose your website. Make it known. It has to be visible. It has to be frequently targeted by consumers and surfers.

Invest in marketing your internet site.  There are basically two options available to you, the SEO and PPC. These two are probably the most desirable alternatives you can get for your internet business as strategy for search engine marketing.

1. SEO

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Some researches indicate that 60% – 70% of internet surfers and users actually resort to using the Google search engine to find and locate web sites and pages, for any topic they desire. SEO is the process taken to make sure that the internet uses will find your website when ranked among the top results of a search. This way you can make sure that you will be visible and can clearly stand out from the rest.

To get a search engine optimization, you will have to build on your own internet site frequently hit internet links to web site pages. The process will involve IBLN or Independent Back-Linking Network, wherein hundreds or even thousands of pages will be utilized to promote a particular website of a client.

In SEO, there is no need for you to pay for the clicks although it will require you to spend time doing research to get a favorable combination of ads and target audience. The SEO process is a long term one. It requires months, 6 months at the least, before the proper outcome is fully achieved, but once the goal is accomplished, you will definitely get a steady source of profit.

2. PPC

PPC means Pay Per Click. It gives way advertising on a search engine. These are sponsored listings that you see whenever you make a search. There will be a charge whenever a visitor or web surfer clicks on any of your ads. There will first be a bidding process. The highest bidder for the price per click will definitely get the chance to be first listed in the search engine.

With this kind of advertising, you can still basically control your campaign as you get to create your own ad. You will also manage the target audience and still stay within the bounds of your budget. Most of the providers of PPC advertising will allow you to specify the target market, either by topic, industry or geographical location. You can also very well check if your ad gets to be shown at all and if it is competitive with the rest.

There are some guaranteed benefits when you get to maximize the PPC strategy.

1. PPC lets you advertise to the whole of the online community. It is also relatively easy to set up.
2. At first glance, PPC advertising may seem very expensive. Could it possibly happen that someone out there will go on clicking on your ad? This will definitely give you a large bill without the expected profit on your part. If this provides a lot of worries, be rest assured that there is a protection for you. Networks are able to recognize fraudulent clicks.
3. You can also set a budget for a certain period. The moment your budget has been used up by the target number of clicks, your ads will no longer be displayed until the next period you want it again displayed.
4. You will also be able to adjust well to changes in market demands and trends.

In deciding which of the two strategies will work right for you, think of your goals and of your resources. They definitely offer benefits and advantages that will work for your good. The better way to approach this two is to evaluate according to your short term and long term plans. Take the PPC course for your short term goals and choose SEO if you have long term ones.

There world is out there for you now. Just make sure you do what will work best for your entrepreneurial endeavors and visions. The secret to success lies in your hands. Just study your options well and you’ll get exactly what you want.

One way to discover an ideal model for your blogging web site is to look at the sites that have successfully captured a blogging audience already to determine if you can appropriate some of their strategies to help realize your vision. Of course, you will also need to add a unique flair to your project in order to stand apart from your competition. Many people agree that the websites that do the best in today’s market are the sites that have the most personality. The fiercely individual surfers who are bloggers are a demographic that responds especially strongly to personality, so consider how you can give your site a unique and attractive feeling by lending your own voice and sensibility to your site’s design and content.

Once you have a great idea for your site, have pinpointed a special niche that you are well equipped to fill, and have infused the site with personality, the next step is figuring out how to get the word out to bloggers. I’ve always agreed that it doesn’t matter if your backlink is from a .org, .net, .com, .gov or .edu. The domain extension doesn’t make it any more (or less) important than any other.

I’ve also mentioned in the past that any backlink with “nofollow” in it does not pass on any PR (page rank) value. No argument there.

However, don’t just ignore backlinks from “nofollow” sites. I’ve performed a test to prove my theory.

1. Registered brand new domain.
2. Created a website with DUPLICATE content.
3. Commented on 8 “nofollow” blogs a day for 3 days.
4. Did NOTHING else… including submitting to search engine, article marketing, anything. JUST the blog commenting.

3 days later, the website was indexed. I stopped posting blog comments and had received a total of 20 visitors.

If such a simple task still carries over some traffic, what makes you think getting backlinks from “nofollow” is a waste of time? Of course, it would be more beneficial to get the ‘do follow’ backlinks. Just try to be as natural as possible and not be too concerned whether a site is a do or not follow.

This year really is going to be an enormous year for Internet marketing. There’s going to be a lot of focus on getting businesses online and an increase in mobile (cellular) advertising. You truly do have to be prepared.

Hint: You’ll practically be able to start your own SEO marketing firm or HAVE your own SEO marketing team do all the work with minimal costs each month.

But you have to respond to my blog entry.

1. Before contacting the owner/webmaster do some research on that person. Join their ezine/newsletter to know their writing style. Look around their web site to see how they present themselves.

2. If they don’t have a ‘contact me’ link/form then look up their domain with a whois service. My favorite is DomainBank.net. I don’t suggest buying domains from them though because the price is quite high. You can also use sites like Register.com or GoDaddy.com.

3. When contacting them try not to make your offer sound like a sales ad or a business opportunity.

4. Contact them using their names. Be a professional and not a salesman. Yes, you’re trying to get them to ‘buy in’ on your JV but they don’t want to feel pressured. More than likely, they’re probably doing just fine without you but you have to make them feel that it’s WORTH their time and effort to work with you.

5. Don’t just make your offer to ANYONE. If you’re a newbie, your best chances are finding websites that are individually owned and not corporately owned. Also, don’t go shooting up their for the “Gurus” they’ll just shoot you back down.

6. After discovering how long they’ve been in business, don’t be so quick to shoot them down if they’ve been in business for only 2-3 months, make sure it’s not their primary site. Perhaps they have a main site and they’re just expanding their business. So instead of contacting them from the new site, go to their primary site and contact them their.

Follow these tips and consider what I’ve taught you here. I’ve made many, many successful JVs with people who are very wonderful and helpful. Good luck, have fun, make money and be fair.

People usually remember who was first, not second. For instance, who was the first to sell books online? Amazon; who was second? Who was the first to start mass production cars? Ford; who was second? Which company was the first to start the fast-food chain restaurant? McDonalds; who was second? Who was the first to build an airplane? The Wright brothers; who was second? I’d ask you who was the first to walk on the moon but that is too controversial to discuss.

Did you at any time notice the crickets when I asked for the second provider?

I do hope you are getting the idea here. We all tend to remember who was first but seldom do we remember too much further than that. Whomever enters the market first usually makes the biggest impression. Most of our Internet gurus are filthy rich because they were first to present their products. Is that fair? Well, from their point of view, of course it is. But from ours, it is not very desirable.

Now you are thinking that you have to be first at something to become rich but you don’t know what to be first at; so, you think it’s impossible. Take it easy, my friend. There are ways around it. Let me ask you a question. Who owns money?

Did you try saying Bill Gates? Did you try saying Donald Trump? Did you even try saying George Bush? It doesn’t matter WHO you claim to own money, you are wrong. NO ONE owns money. Bill Gates has money, Donald Trump has money, George Bush has money and YOU have money but no one will ever own it.

Though money is man-made it is much like nature. No one owns it. No one owns the weather we feel, no one owns the water we drink, no one owns the air we breathe and so on.

“Oh, but people own land!”

Do we really? This, too, all has to do with perception. Since ancient history people have spilt their blood to claim land as their own. To prove my point, can you think of why anyone would risk their lives to own a piece of land? It’s because they don’t own it.

Owning land today is made possible through legal paperwork. It then creates a perception in our mind that the land belongs to someone – the land is in someone’s name. Great Britain claimed America to be theirs and we lost many lives to claim it as our own. After many deaths and a binding agreement, America was finally ours. It was a perception the world saw and accepted.

My point is this, money belongs to no one so don’t think you cannot become as wealthy as any other guru you know of. And notice that I never once said being first automatically makes you rich. That’s not always the case and that’s why I say the first will make the biggest impression.

If you are not the first to present a product, or the creator of a product, you must present it to those who have not seen the product. This is made possible through affiliate programs and reseller programs. As an affiliate you earn a small percentage of a sale and as a reseller you make whatever percent the original owner gives you. In most cases, it is a 100% profit for you. So you see, the opportunity is readily available to you even if you were not first in line.

If wealth was made for only those who were first in line, then there would be no such thing as a line. They might benefit before us but it doesn’t mean we won’t benefit anything.

No matter what, we must SELL our idea, concept, product or service to someone to stay in business, and in some cases, keep our job. Well, in order to sell better, don’t sell at all!

I closed 4 clients this week by NOT selling to them. In fact, it was THEIR idea to talk about the package and ask about the price. It was THEIR idea to negotiate what they want and could possibly afford. And each time I got off the phone, they were eager to hear back from me. I even get “thank you’s”  for not selling to them even though they’re signing on as a client.

Weird, right?

So the question in the back of your mind is this…

“HOW are you doing that!”

Good question… but I won’t answer that until I get enough feedback from people who would be interested in knowing how. If I can get a prospect on the phone and talking to them for at least 10 minutes, the deal is as good as closed 90% of the time. That’s how powerful this technique is.

Those of you who have become my clients or one of those clients I just closed this week know EXACTLY what I’m talking about. So please don’t give it out to everyone and release the secret!

They Don’t Feel Used

The best thing about it though is that I know these clients of mine don’t feel used. They are HAPPY I am using this technique (well, I didn’t even know it was a technique until I looked back and realized how well TexasSEO is doing). I don’t have a name for it really, so “selling without selling” is as closest I can get to putting a name on it. I’m sure other people call it something else.

But again, I’m not going to just put it out there for people if there’s no real desire to know. So I’ll keep it to myself for now. And if there aren’t enough responses or requests… well, I guess it’ll wait until I release it in my new book later on next year.

HINT: It’s NOT about the money!

So what are we talking about here?

We’re talking about using the Google Keyword Tool. You can click on the link or type it into the search engines and Google’s external keyword tool will show up. It’s the same thing their AdWords users use. Main difference is you have to enter a captcha code to indicate that you’re human. So do that if you wish to do so at this time.

Alright, so a little explanation on the different filters.

BROAD MATCH

A “broad” match indicates that the search is based on ANY combination of the words. In example, if the keyword phrase was “learn magic tricks online” the filter is looking for the following:

1. learn
2. magic
3. tricks
4. online
5. learn magic
6. learn tricks
7. learn online
8. magic tricks
9. magic online
10. magic learn
11. tricks online
12. tricks magic
13. tricks learn
14. online tricks
15. online magic
16. online learn
17. learn magic tricks
18. learn magic online
19. magic tricks online
20. magic tricks learn

And it just continues. You get the idea. THAT’S what the broad match does. It considers ALL the possibilities for that keyword phrase. That’s why the search volume is always so high for keyword phrases with 2 or more keywords.

PHRASE MATCH

What phrase match does is consider whether the keyword phrase is also considered in another keyword term. Here’s an example: magic tricks

This means the FOLLOWING keywords could also be considered:

1. learn “magic tricks”
2. “magic tricks” online
3. “magic tricks” learn
4. online “magic tricks”
5. I like “magic tricks”
6. “magic tricks” are fun
7. the best “magic tricks”
8. my secret “magic tricks”
9. “magic tricks” changed my life
10. learn “magic tricks” today

Again, it continues with the possibilities. This is why broad and phrase matches does no one any good. It spits out half-truths and you’re stuck trying to figure it out.

EXACT MATCH

The BEST filter to use is the exact match filter. The reason this filter is the best is because it tells you what the search performance is each month based on ONLY that particular keyword phrase in THAT exact order. We use it for all of our keyword research and analysis to know which keywords are the best ones for us and for our clients.

If you think you’re done after picking out the highly searched keywords, you’re completely wrong! Wait for next week when I explain the most important part in keyword research AND analysis!

If it is possible you should always use relevant anchor text in your home pages instead of just using the plain old and very boring “HOME” link.

Home page is the most important page in your website, so it is fairly important that that this page has a good backlink from each and every page in your site. This is one good idea and an easy way to create a good internal link arrangements and this also makes the search engines easily indexed your website.

You should always keep in mind that this linking is not just for the Home page in your site, but also to the other important pages in your website. A good example is if you have a blog site, then you want to increase its ranking for some particular and specific article, all you have to do is to give it a side – wide link on all of your previous blog posts.

It is good practice to do this on a constant basis so that you have a strong internal linking system in place. The better structured you are the easier it is for search engines to index your pages. The more indexed pages you have, the higher chances of traffic you’ll receive.

Just remember that there’s more to it than just internal linking and on-page search engine optimization. Search engine marketing is still one of the largest factor in your search engine domination.
